Kristin Baisden
OWNER + ARTIST
Hi, I’m Kristin, but you can think of me as your extroverted, coffee-loving friend who likes to write, draw, doodle, paint and make lists.
I’m a believer in Jesus, and I hope that my love for Him overflows into everything I do. I’m also a big people person - relationships and community are incredibly important to me. I know that I’m only as good as the people I surround myself with!
My goal as an artist is to get to know you and how I can incorporate your style into what I create, so your personality is reflected in the details. Plus, we might just become best friends!
Core Values
Accountability – I believe in being someone people can count on.
Integrity – I value being ethical and treating my peers and customers with honor.
Passion – I love what I do and pour my heart into it.
Kindness – I believe in treating others the way I want to be treated.
Collaboration – We’re only as good as the people we surround ourselves with. Community will always be a priority for me.
A Little About Lovely Arrows…
Over 8 years ago, I started playing around with handlettering. I’ve always loved to change up my handwriting, so this was a fun way to be creative with letters. I opened up Lovely Arrows Designs in 2016 with no clear concept of what I wanted this business to become - I just knew I wanted to create with pretty lettering.
As time progressed, I found my niche in the wedding industry, creating signs and day-of details and continued to experiment with different designs and mediums. In 2020, I found myself with a good amount of time on my hands, and branched out into the corporate world with window painting and wall murals. When wedding season picked up again, I was busier than I’d ever been.
What began as a creative outlet and side-hustle turned into a full-time artistic endeavor in late 2021, then came the addition of calligraphy classes. Now I work as a corporate artist, wedding sign designer and instructor.
When I’m not slinging paint or teaching classes, you can find me leading worship for my local church, spending time with my husband and kids, binging a random show (please hurry back, Yellowstone!) or doing on-site research to see who has the best avocado toast in Columbus.
